ความร่วมมือระหว่างจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กระทรวงสาธารณสุข และศูนย์ความร่วมมือไทย-สหรัฐ ด้านสาธารณสุข ในโครงการ “บูรณาการความร่วมมือด้านสาธารณสุขและวิชาการเพื่อการควบคุมโรคติดเชื้อ (iPHAC-IDC)”

วันศุกร์ ที่ 20 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2566 เวลา 13.00–16.30 น. ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น 13 อาคารศูนย์การแพทย์บางรัก ถนนสาทรใต้ แขวงยานนาวา เขตสาทร กรุงเทพมหานคร นายแพทย์ธงชัย กีรติหัตถยากร อธิบดีกรมควบคุมโรค กล่าวว่า ขอแสดงความยินดีกับนักวิจัยหลักและตัวแทนผู้เกี่ยวข้องในโครงการ     “บูรณาการความร่วมมือด้านสาธารณสุขและวิชาการเพื่อการควบคุมโรคติดเชื้อ (iPHAC-IDC)” จะเห็นได้ว่าความร่วมมืออย่างเข้มแข็งระหว่างผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียจากสถาบันการศึกษาและกระทรวงสาธารณสุข มีบทบาทสำคัญในการควบคุม ป้องกัน และติดตามโรค โดยเฉพาะโรคจากสัตว์สู่คน โรคอุบัติใหม่และโรคอุบัติซ้ำและเชื่อว่าการประชุมในวันนี้จะเกิดประสิทธิภาพ ประสิทธิผล และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้องทุกท่าน ตลอดจนระบบสาธารณสุขในภาพรวม

รศ.นพ.ฉันชาย สิทธิพันธุ์ คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กล่าวว่า รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติที่ได้กล่าวคำปราศรัยเปิดการประชุม Kick-off ในโครงการ “บูรณาการความร่วมมือด้านสาธารณสุขและวิชาการเพื่อการควบคุมโรคติดเชื้อ หรือ iPHAC-IDC” โดยคณะแพทยศาสตร์มีความภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่งที่ได้สนับสนุนการเฝ้าระวังด้านสาธารณสุขโดยใช้กลยุทธ์เชิงนวัตกรรมที่พัฒนาร่วมกับทีมงาน iPHAC ซึ่งบางส่วนประกอบด้วยเทคโนโลยีโมเลกุลและชีวสารสนเทศศาสตร์แบบใหม่ เซรั่มวิทยา multiplex AI ทางการแพทย์ One Health แนวทางการเฝ้าระวัง และโครงการพัฒนาบุคลากรผ่านโครงการ Global Laboratory Leadership และเชื่อว่าการประชุมครั้งนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์และเป็นก้าวแรกที่สำคัญของการไปสู่เป้าหมายร่วมกันในการเสริมสร้างการเฝ้าระวังด้านสาธารณสุข

The collaboration of Chulalongkorn University, the Ministry of Public Health, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. under the project “the Integrated Public Health and Academic Collaboration for Infectious Diseases Control (iPHAC-IDC)”

On Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 1.00 PM to 4.30 PM, at the conference room of Bang Rak Medical Center in Bangkok, Dr.Thongchai Keeratihuttayakorn, General Director, Department of Disease Control. Has made the following statement:

“I would like to extend my greetings to the principal investigators and stakeholders of this project “the Integrated Public Health and Academic Collaboration for Infectious Diseases Control (iPHAC-IDC)”. It is evident that the strong collaboration among relevant sectors, especially stakeholders from academia and the Ministry of Public Health, has played an essential role in controlling, preventing, and monitoring almost all diseases, particularly zoonotic, emerging and re-emerging diseases. and I believe this meeting today will be productive, fruitful and beneficial to all related participants of this project as well as the public health system as a whole.”

Associate Professor Dr.Chanchai Sittipunt, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. Has made the following statement:

“I am honored to be delivering an opening address for this Kick-off meeting for “the Integrated Public Health and Academic Collaboration for Infectious Diseases Control (iPHAC-IDC)” The Faculty of Medicine is indeed proud to be supporting public health surveillance by using innovative strategies developed together with our iPHAC team- some of which include novel molecular and bioinformatics technology, the multiplex serology, medical AI, One Health surveillance approaches, and workforce development scheme through the Global Laboratory Leadership Program. I believe your inputs at this meeting will benefit us all; this is our first significant step towards our common goal of strengthening public health surveillance.”
